Churchyard noticeboard

We have had the churchyard noticeboard repaired.

It was in an embarrassingly dreadful state, and needed either to be repaired or removed. Here is a 'before' pic.

And here is an 'after' pic, with Mark Hoskin, who took it apart, meticulously cleaned every piece, repainted the shields, repaired it and put it back together. And installed a fetching lead roof covering using re-claimed lead, which should add to its longevity.

Go and take a look for yourselves! It is a lovely piece of work

Mark and his brother Andrew previously repaired our commandment boards, that hang in the chancel. They work in Little Shelford, and come highly recommended by us. Their website is here.
