The 4 Points

The four points are a really simple overview of the bible and the first thing that you need to know is that God is crazy about you! His love for you is unlimited and completely unconditional. This means there is nothing you can do to make God love you any more or less than he does right now.

Not only does God love you, he also has an amazing plan and purpose for your life. God desperately wants to have a relationship with you, he doesn't want you to miss out on the incredible future he has for you. There is nothing that God wants more than to love and be loved by you.

Sadly we have been separated from God's amazing love by something that the bible calls sin. Simply put, sin is when we choose to live for ourselves rather than God. We sin when we ignore God, we break his laws and basically do things our own way.

Sin destroys relationships with friends, with family and with God. Instead of living the incredible life God intended, the bible says that sin has instead brought misery, pain and ultimately death.

The third point is probably one of the most well known facts in the history of mankind. What is important to realise is that the penalty for sin is spiritual death; separation from the God who created us to be in relationship with him. The bible says we've all sinned and we all deserve to be separated from God, in this life and for eternity.

But God who is full of mercy, loved you so much that he sent Jesus to come and die in your place, experiencing separation from his father God so that we don't have to. When Jesus died he made a way for us to have eternal life with God.

You see, not only did Jesus die for our sin, three days later he rose from the dead proving he was who he said he was! Through his death and resurrection Jesus has made a way for us to have a brand new life in relationship with God and a confidence of eternal life with him. All you need to do is accept that you've sinned, ask for God's forgiveness and then put your faith in Jesus, deciding to live the rest of your life for him. The choice is yours.
